We’ve been in our new house for over a year now, and it’s never truly felt like home. The layout didn’t feel right, the organization was suffocating, and everyday I came home with a pit of anxiety in my stomach. Rachel came in and within a matter of minutes, turned our house into a home. She created little spots of joy in every corner, and gave me a new sense of calm. Now when I come home, I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that my home works for our family. Rachel only had caring and compassion, and I never once felt an ounce of judgment because my house wasn’t perfect or spotless. She truly has a big heart for what she does, and I can’t recommend her enough. I can’t wait to work with her again!

Hi. I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Rachel, An Expert in Decluttering and Organizing

Every week I have the honor to work with amazing clients. They open their doors, their homes, and their lives to me. They all have different needs, different abilities, and are in different places in their lives. Some are moving, some are trying to find more space, while others are downsizing. The unifying factor is that they are all extremely overwhelmed with the amount of stuff filling their homes. They're all surrounded by clutter (even if it's tucked away in closets and cabinets) and they're frozen, unable to get from Point A to Point B. That's where I step in.

I can help.

If you have a minute, I want you to pause. Imagine what it would feel like if your house was perfectly organized. What if everything you used had a place when you, your partner, your kids, your guests, or your pets were done with it? What if there was no clutter taunting you from across the room? What if the clothes in your drawers were only your current size and preferences and not years worth that you can't remember wearing? If everything had a place, would you feel a weight lifted? Would your home feel peaceful and less of a burden? Would your home be a place where you could truly enjoy your family and the time you have together?  A haven where you could relax, instead of a never ending to-do list?

I’d like to help you create that place. Not a perfect, Instagram worthy, never messy space, but a realistic space organized especially for you, your family, your timeline, and your budget. Your space.

With that being said, life is hard. Some seasons of life can feel unbearable. Unexpected loss, divorce, huge life changes, moving, down sizing all these things come with so many heavy emotions. It can leaving us paralyzed when trying to figure out what to do next. Our things are not just things, there are emotions and memories tied to them. Decluttering needs to be done gently, intentionally, and thoughtfully. I can help and hold space for all that comes up during that process.

Your days are long and you should look forward to coming home. Yes, there will be laundry to fold, trash to take out, messes to clean up, and dishes to wash but once the decluttering and organizing are done, the upkeep is easy!

My mental health is strongly tied to what I see. When I see clutter, mess, piles of things everywhere I look I feel stress. I feel the weight of it all mentally and physically. When I take a moment to tidy, organize, and declutter I immediately feel a lightness and a calm. I want that for each of my clients. I want them to feel peaceful in their spaces.

So, whether you need more space or you're downsizing, our homes must grow and change along with us.

So, how can I help?

FAQs

01

How long will it take to organize a space?

There are a lot of different factors to consider, but in short, around 2-3 hours per room. A few things that can make the job take a bit longer are the amount of decluttering needed before organization starts, if we're changing the layout of the room as well, and the overall size of the space we're working on.

03

Why hire someone to do something I can do myself?

That’s probably the question I get asked most often. As a professional organizer, I can do things more quickly. I will walk in with a plan, everything needed to organize your space, and I'll execute it efficiently! I won't have the same interruptions you do, so the job goes much faster. What may take me 6 hours at home, with my kiddos, phone, and dogs interrupting me, takes me 2 hours at a client's house. To me, that makes the expense worth it. We are all capable of so much, but my personal to-do list never ends, so I'm learning that asking for help is also ok! Nothing beats walking into a freshly organized space that you didn't have to lift a finger to create!

02

Can you work with a smaller budget?

Yes!! One of my favorite things is tailoring each job to that client's specific needs. There are many ways to work within a budget! I can come in and work for an hour or two on the big stuff, and then we can make a plan for how you can handle the last couple things yourself. We can also prioritize your needs  - tackle jobs over the course of a few months, complete one job a month, or as your budget allows.

What's involved in the free consult?

I'd like to meet with you and see the space or spaces you'd like to organize.  I want to hear what isn't working for you anymore. I want to hear what you envision for your space. We can decide if we're doing something as basic as organization of shelves or if we are doing a major purge and restructuring the layout of the room. With your permission I'll take some pictures of the space and then head home to write up my plan and complete my quote! Once completed I'll submit it to you. You can reach out with any questions and if you want to move forward we'll get your job on the books!
